Dr Simone

Dr Simone Matousek is a fully qualified Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon. Following her training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, she completed two further plastic surgery fellowships, one in breast surgery, (Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery /Allergan Breast Fellowship) and the other in facial aesthetic plastic surgery (Mentor International Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship, London).

She is one of a few plastic surgeons with a PhD degree and was one of the first plastic surgeons in Australia to perform the technique of large volume fat grafting to the breast for reconstruction and cosmetic breast augmentation. She travelled internationally to gain experience prior to this procedure being performed in Australia and has since developed her own effective fat grafting technique.

Dr Simone believes in providing a comprehensive service, with a range of treatments available, which are tailored to the individual. Her practice philosophy is to leave patients looking refreshed and rejuvenated, not radically different.

The aim of plastic surgery treatments is to provide subtle enhancement of a person’s features or to restore anatomy that has changed due to the processes of ageing or disease.
